Gordon Smith - Retail Crime & ORC Editor
Gordon served the Loss Prevention industry for 17 years before returning to the Downing & Downing team as an Executive Search Consultant. He has expanded his role as a contributing writer and editor for the D&D Daily, bringing his industry expertise to the Retail Crime and ORC columns. Gordon's career in Loss Prevention covers discount and full-line department stores, membership warehouse and specialty retail formats, and attaining positions from District, Regional, and Director of Security Services. Gordon holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Criminal Justice from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania, was a former Certified Protection Professional (CPP), and he also proudly served with the U.S. Army's Military Police.
Sean Colarossi - Managing Editor
Sean's various roles with the D&D Daily include overseeing social media and website content, helping to manage the layout and visual presentation of the e-newsletter, writing articles, coordinating content, conducting research and updating the d-ddaily.net website.
Sean brings to the team a background in journalism, politics and community involvement. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and an Associate of Arts degree in Journalism from Lakeland Community College, where he was Editor-in-Chief of the student-run newspaper The Lakelander.
